Plot Summary: The mysterious island of Houraijima has reappeared after 50 years, and with its reappearance has brought the attack of four gods, the Shitoushin, who have their eyes set on the powers that protect and sustain the island. Now it's up to Inuyasha and his friends, along with Sesshoumaru and Kikyo, to find a way to defeat the powerful Shitoushin.
Spoilers: Kikyo is just like a guest in here, not much scenes but she has another clone! (Omg! I'm so sick of seing her as a clone! Why can't they come up with a better storyline for her? For me, she's the most abused and depressed character in this movie… totally lifeless!). Also Sesshoumaru was like and "extra in here". Good thing about the movie is the nice ED song and character designs. It could have been better thought if the story is polished.Inu Yasha is Inu Yasha, and if you've enjoyed the previous movies and TV series, you'll certainly enjoy this piece. However, as a standalone piece it's nothing special. The movie teaser just… well teases you that the movie is better thean the 3 movies.
Notes:The fourth film comes at an odd point in the series. Three months after the television series ended, this film is released. The film was shown on a double bill with a Hamtaro film.
