Plot Summary: The FMA movie starts right off where the series left off. The movie, unlike the series, has the final ending to Fullmetal Alchemist. Set in Munich, Germany, 1923 after two years have passed since Edward Elric was dragged from his own world to ours like a dream, leaving behind his country, his friends and his younger brother, Alphonse. Stripped of his alchemical powers, he has been all this time researching rocketry together with Alphonse Heiderich, a young man who resembles his own brother, hoping to one day find a way back home. His efforts so far had proven fruitless, but after lending a hand to a troubled gipsy girl and sompleting a transmutation circle in a research lab, Edward is thrown in a series of events that can wreak havoc in both worlds. Meanwhile, at his own world, Alphonse Elric, now fully grown and dresses like his brother and had the same length of hair ventures deeper into the mysteries of alchemy in search for a way to reunite with his older brother.

Comments: Izumi-san is dead in this movie. And her son, Wrath was so devastated and lonely that he wished for Al to transmutate him in order to comeback to his mother's arms. Al at first, does not want to do so but Wrath wanted only to help him see his brother and does not want to witness anymore using Al's own body to transmutate (remember, in one of the last episodes of the series, he witness Ed transmuting his own body to save Al?). Maes Hughes is alive in Ed's world, swooning over Gracia and Elysia is not yet born. The ending is really nice, you'll be carried over and it made you think that it would not even end happily… In the end, the brothers were reunited once again. When Al transmuted Wrath, the gate opened and Ed finally came back (sheesh, I though Ed and Al would have a dramatic meeting but it did not happen - they just smile and greet each other, tsk!). Then they fought the "Conqueror of Shambala" and her subordinates.When they defeated it, Ed separated from Al and Col. Mustang telling them they he would come back at the other world to seal the gate. Al was crying helplessly calling to his onii-san. When Ed came back he found out the Alphonse Heildrich (someone looking like his old brother and maybe the one that Al sees in his dreams as himself) dead. Someone shoot Alphonse after he made Ed escape with his rockets. The n one of the metal gears spoke and Ed thought that Al's soul has not yet the gear (Al's soul can be easily transferred using alchemy). To his surprise, Al was actually there inside the suit. He secetly hide himslef so that he could be with Ed. He said to him that " I want to be with you, grow with you, see things with you and have another adventture once again " (Ahh.. is not that sweet and adorable? Al-san kawaii!!). This movie is really awesome! There's this certain excitement that you feel as you watch the movie progress. You'll definitely miss half of your life if you did not watch this! It's worth-seeing especially if you're an avid FMA lunatic! Over-all Verdict: The Best Anime Movie of 2005! Fantastic!
