Volume 11 contains a special chapter about Rei. Naoko-sensei got the idea when she heard the seiyuu of Sailormoon and Tomizawa Michie (seiyuu of Sailor Mars/Rei Hino) talkingve about the latter’s fave flower, casablanca lilies.
The chapter tells of the friendship Rei had with her father’s secretary, Kaidou. Rei at one point even fancied herself in love with him, and was shocked when he suddenly became engaged to another woman. Rei also shared a second manga story with Aino Minako, entitled Rei and Minako’s Girls School Battle in Volume 13.
It was Rei’s birthday and she usually dines out with his father during this ocassion. In the story, it turns out that her politician father is very busy and sometimes Kaido-san would go out with Rei during her birthday. His dad sent her white flowers and a white dress. Later on, she knew that it was Kaidou-san who picked the gifts for her. She regarded themselves as “kindred spirits” because they bought wanted the same things in life – they do not want to have a family so that their children would not be sad. However Rei found out that Kaidou-san is already engaged to a daughter of another politician and this broke her heart.
Rei plays the piano to mend her broken heart.

I was able to have a copy of this manga ^_^ Finally hihi
God knows how much I wanted to have a copy of this. If ever I’ll go to Japan this would be the very first item that I’ll be looking for. But there’s no need for that…
Last Friday we went to Cubao for the 3 day and I was so glad that I came because I found and the volume 11 of Sailormoon manga ^_^ I really wanted to have a copy of the said volume because there’s a special volume about Rei-chan, my fave sailor-senshi and anime character of all time. I was realy excited to read it, I was like a child cuddling a toy while shopping in Cubao… I could not wait to get home before reading it.
